Can UVC rays be reflected?
Light has other reflecting properties than UV rays! UVC rays are considerably more short waved and richer in energy than light, thus the term “UV Light” is clearly liable to be misunderstood and we advise to avoid it. However there are materials with high UVC reflection properties. In indoor applications the corresponding reflective sources must certainly be taken into consideration in order not to cause any problems with persons in the rooms. In airstream disinfecting it makes sense to use a high-degree reflective material in the ray chamber as these measures will more than double the ray effectivity.
