Can use just any old dc adaptor cable for my Boss ME-50?
I accidentally ran over my power adaptor for my Boss ME-50 multiple effects box. I really don’t want to have to buy a brand new cable for 25$ but the manual says only use Boss Psa adaptors for the effects box. I was wondering if it is possible to use just any old dc adaptor to power the effects box instead of the recommended Boss PSA dc adaptor. I’d guess that Boss just want your money, and you would be fine to use any Power Supply that can give 9V at 120mA (probably DC) Just check the connector – has it got some proprietary connector, or is it a regular barrel (or jack) connector?
