Can under floor heating cables be reduced in length if too long?

0

Under no circumstances should underfloor heating cables be cut or reduced in length. If using a Cable Kit, the spacing between cable runs can be altered to make maximum use of the cable provided. Note that to achieve 150 W/m², cable spacing will be around 65mm , this can be adjusted down to a minimum of 50mm between runs producing approximately 200 W/m². We will be pleased to advise you what length cable to buy.
