Can UAE help a patient with endometriosis and uterine fibroids?
Endometriosis (pain caused by menstrual tissue being outside of the uterus usually as adhesions or cysts) is not treated by UAE. Patients with fibroids and endometriosis will get relief of their fibroid symptoms, but not the endometriosis symptoms.
