Can u shrink jeans?
likely not; at this point, but there is something you can try: Turn them inside out…this keeps the color from bleeding away as quickly as it ordinarily will, just so ya know…..and then wash them in the hottest water you can get into your washer. Be Johnny on the spot when the washer stops and toss them in the dryer on the highest heat setting. Seeing as how you have owned them for a while, you may be stuck, but if you keep this up for about the next 4 or 5 washes, you may succeed in getting the fibers to shrink to thier limit and stay that way. To keep new jeans from getting pinchy on you, check to see if the denim is woven from pre-shrunk cotton or not. If it was woven from pre shrunk, you can buy your size precisely and you’ll be a right. If you get virgin cotton, buy one size larger and when you get home, do the hot wash / hot dry bit and they ought be a PERFECT fit every time you put them on. I buy Levi’s 501 blues, virgin cotton, in a 33-38 and they shrink down to a perfect 32
