Can u investigate different types of waves travelling in different materials & between different materials?

There are different kind of waves but the most common are electromagnetic waves (i.e. light and radio waves) and accoustic waves (i.e. sound, vibration,..). when a wave is travelling in a specific material it has a specific speed. when the wave encounters an interface between 2 materials there will be a change in speed that can cause reflection and/or refraction.
