This type of cylinder can also be used as a double-acting cylinder. To do so, all you need to do is unscrew the filter part in the exhaust port and replace it with a fitting (e.g. type QS-…). Please note: The force of the cylinder is lower when against the effective force of the spring (by the amount of the spring force) and higher in the opposite direction (by the amount of the spring force).
