Can two people of the opposite sex be platonic friends after previously in a romantic, sexual relationship?
I believe it is very possible for two former lovers to remain friends, True there will be no friendship at first for there will be much to work out, and I also believe that it depends on how the relationship ends. And what I mean by this if the breakup is mutual and agreed upon i do believe this is the best chance for a friendship to remain, If there is one who wants out but not the other I believe their friendship will not start to show for a while for who want to be around the one who broke your heart. And i believe the chances for friendship dwindle from there. I myself am getting ready to end a relationship with a man who I had been in love with for the past 7yrs but unfortunately I am no longer in love with him. I do hope that we remain friends there has been no infidelity and I plan to end our relationship on the best possible terms. I will say this to you though, you truly have a very special case, one that I am sure many wish they could have.
