Can two people in the army national guard date or get married?

As long as it doesn’t violate the unit’s fraternization policy…. http://usmilitary.about.com/od/army/a/fr… Officers and enlisted are prohibited, unless they were together before the officer’s commission, but even then, they can’t be in one another’s command. NCO’s can’t get involved with lower enlisted in their chain of command. Soldiers of any rank are prohibited from relationships with IET (initial entry) soldiers. Bottom line, any relationship that compromises (or APPEARS to) the proper chain of command is prohibited. There are things would have your subordinate do, that you wouldn’t ask your girlfriend/boyfriend to do, and that could undermines the order of the unit. There are a ton of couples who are both in the service. Every unit I’ve been in had married couples, they were always of similar rank though, and assigned to different sections.

What is your question?
