If trustees hold property: • for the purposes of a public recreation ground, or of allotments, for the benefit of inhabitants of a parish or community having a parish or community council; or • for other charitable purposes connected with a parish or community having a parish or community council; they may transfer the property to the parish or community council or to persons appointed by the council provided that: • we approve; and • the parish or community council consents. 20. If the transfer is made, the new trustees will hold the property on the same trusts and subject to the same conditions as the transferring trustees did. 21. Property belonging to an ecclesiastical charity can not be transferred in this way.
