There is no such thing as a truly hermaphroditic person, as there are only psuedohermaphrodites (Intersexuals). There are only one set of gonads when a fetus, your gonads either become testicles or ovaries. In some rare cases the gonads can become both, but in these cases neither will be able to function. So distinctively, even the hermaphrodites today can be classified as a male or female depending on what their gonads formed.
