Yes, when the activities are conducted by an adult volunteer. Girl Scouts cannot be an unpaid advertising force for a business making a profit from sales resulting from a Girl Scout activity (i.e.: girls handing out flyers offering a 10% discount on pizza orders and the troop gets $1 for each pizza ordered). We only utilize girls to support two GSCO-sponsored product sales annually. Girls cannot sell a non-Girl Scout product. 12. Can service units, troops or girls working on specific projects fundraise for other organizations? No. Troops cannot participate in direct fundraising for another organization. Nor can funds be passed through GSCO for the purpose of supporting other organizations. However, girls may contribute a portion of their group treasury to organizations or projects they consider worthwhile if they have funds that are not needed for activities during the year. They may also support other organizations through service projects. 13. Can girls raise funds for Gold Award Pro
