Can travel for AHSP be included under the Initiative to assist in improving access to RACFs?

It is possible for Divisions to assist allied health service providers meet travel costs to aged care facilities with written approval from the Department. If the need is identified that funding should be allocated to AHSPs to increase access then this would be an appropriate model. In considering proposals to assist with travel the Department will consider the distance allied health service providers are required to travel to get to aged care facilities within the Divisions boundaries.
