Can Transcribe! display videos?
Yes on Windows & Mac (not yet on Linux). You may need to convert the video to a suitable format first, see Help – Various Topics – Video, and also see this page. • “Can I use Transcribe! for transcribing speech?” Yes, Transcribe! can be used very effectively for transcribing speech. Looping, Selecting and Markers • “How do I get playback to loop continuously?” First, be aware that “markers” have nothing to do with looping. You choose what to loop by selecting it with the mouse. So: – On the “Play” menu, select “Play Selection” and “Loop” so that both of these items have tick marks against them. In fact this is the default anyway, as long as you haven’t changed them. – Select the section
