Can Track and Field events such as Discus, Javelin and Shotput be held on my field?
The use of the Discus, Shot-Put, Javelin and Hammer will not void the warranty. However, to avoid any damage to the FieldTurf surface, the following guidelines must be implemented: The FieldTurf surface should be covered with a piece of nylon covering so that the FieldTurf surface is not damaged in any way. Any non-infilled piece of FieldTurf also works very well. The landing space should be rotated to avoid over use in a concentrated area. Grooming of the infill after each event should be done to ensure that the infill is redistributed properly. The Javelin must be equipped with a rubber tip to avoid damage to the FieldTurf system.
