According to a new study, published in the Journal of Biological Chemistry, a high intake of drinks with high concentration of sugar (such as soda) may increase the risk of developing the Alzheimer’s disease. Ling Li, from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, led the study that seem to imply that taking too much sugar is detrimental to your health and more specifically to your mental health.
