Can too much chocolate cause kidney problems/infections/failureor stones?

Whether the chocolate will cause kidney stones or not would depend on many factors including whether or not she had kidney stones in the past, and what type of stones they are. If she has a tendency to get stones than aside from the chocolate, drinking only 3 glasses of water a day is way to few. The best preventative for almost all kinds of kidney stones is drinking water and not getting dehydrated. As far as chocolate itself is concerned there are many recent studies that indicate that a reasonable amount of dark chocolate is actually beneficial for you. However I dont think Snickers bars would come under that heading.
