Can tile manufactured in Florida or Texas be used in our northern climate in Minnesota?
The MonierLifetile color-through tiles pass freeze/thaw testing for code purposes and can be used in all climates. We do not recommend slurry coated tiles in northern climates, however. Also, we do not recommend installation of the Spanish S profile manufactured at our Boca Raton facility in northern climates.
