Can TIAH 3 be used to update or revise exhibits created with an earlier versions of TIAH?

In a word – no. While some drawings created with an earlier version of TIAH could be updated with TIAH 3, we do not recommend it. TIAH 3 (current release) has been re-written from the ground-up in order to provide additional functionality now and in the future. This required some changes in the way TIAH reads and writes data and how it handles the intersection volume symbols. As a result, backwards compatibility had to be sacrificed this one time. Note that future releases of TIAH (e.g. TIAH 3.x, TIAH 4, etc.) will maintain compatibility with TIAH 3, i.e. drawings created with TIAH 3 will be updatable with future TIAH releases.
