A. A school that is a recipient of and/or is in partnership with an afterschool 21st Century Community Learning Centers may apply for an Active Schools Grant. If selected, the school would be the recipient of the grant funding and would be responsible for implementing a program that would provide a minimum of 30-60 minutes of daily moderate to vigorous physical activity during the school day. Depending on the arrangement with the Active School grantee, the afterschool 21st Century Community Learning Centers could use materials and equipment to help the center meet their grant requirement of providing students with 30 minutes of physical activity.
