Answer Dear Donna, SVT is not a danger to life, just a nuisance. The only worsening possible is that an episode would last longer. AFib is totally irregular heart rhythm. You can tell it easily on a Holter, but you don’t need a Holter. It would be obvious in its irregularity. Doubt if Zantac caused any arrhythmia, though the only way to be sure is restart and stop 3 times. Regular exercise can lessen PACs and SVT.
