Can they block out noises all night from neighbors as in heavy footsteps , cats knocking things off tables upstairs, etc?
The headband does not have any special equipment to get rid of external sounds. It would be like wearing 2 layers of fleece of your ears, which doesn’t block out too much. But if you listen to some music or the included CD, you can drown out outside sounds. We recommend setting the sound level during a fairly quiet time and not adjusting up too much during the night. Constant sounds above 85 decibels for an extended period of time may cause hearing damage.
