Can Thermite burn through two layers of steel?
There are many variations of the Thermite reaction.or compound. Under the right conditions Thermite can burn through many inches of steel. It does not melt the metal as much as it actually causes the steel to Burn….like wood burning ,sure some melts but an oxidation process occurs. And its not like a couple of guys scrounging the ingredients.
