Can there be more than one Excavation Scheduled Start Date?

0

• If an excavator chooses to notify a Tier 2 facility operator, (water or wastewater operator), by placing an additional call to that facility, the call(s) should be made on the same day. If the excavator waits more than one day to contact the Tier 2 facility operator, the excavator will have to allow the operator two additional working days beyond the date of the call to provide locates. Therefore, the excavation scheduled start date may be delayed. Staff strongly recommends that Tier 2 facility operators be called the same day the call center is notified of a pending excavation.
