Can there be a selfless good deed?
There are selfless good deeds, but you went far over and beyond a good deed. The X-Y guy had something there on how we evolved to be as many as we are by helping each other, but we still have bad throwbacks, that try to stick together “individually” to gain their own means. That was only in families and tribes. Your selflessness on the spur of the moment came from deep within. I’m sure you had no control over what you did. You saved a little girls life by putting your own on the line. I’d be very happy to have fractured a finger, plus save a life. Have the parents of the girl write and sign a statement with the address and contact numbers, and show it to your teacher. You should to be able to take your time on the exam. Keep up the good work. We need more people like you in this world that won’t turn and face the other way’. If you have a God, whoever it may be, I’m sure will give you nice rewards…just don’t go off track of what is really important in this world.
