Can the ZIP 4×4 be used as an intercom?
Yes. You can configure the phone to automatically answer all internal calls after one ring through the speakerphone. Conference The ZIP 4×4 supports conferencing with three to five people. The conference is easily set up with any combination of inbound and outbound calls. Individual members can join or leave the conference at any time. The conference can be put on hold, allowing the other parties to continue without the host. The host can use a free call appearance to place or answer another call. The LEDs on the call appearance buttons show a different color to indicate those calls involved in the conference. Dialing Users can dial by phone number or SIP URL, which can be abbreviated for example by dialing sales. Users can enter a number prior to seizing a call appearance or picking up the handset. This allows users to review and edit the number prior to calling. A single button (with its own LED) is used to mute the phone, regardless whether the handset, headset, or speaker is in use
