Can the yurts be insulated against the cold?

0

Yes. Any insulative material can be added between the wooden frame and the outer cover. Some materials which have been used with great success include woolen blankets, felt and Dacron. Dacron is especially suitable as it is relatively cheap, light weight, and still allows a lot of natural light through. We do not currently sell insulation, but we can provide an inner lining for your yurt which hides the insulation (see yurt page for prices). You first fit the lining, then the insulation, and finally the outer cover.
