The functionality of the XLi system is the same as the XL-DC. So, a same configuration XLi will produce the same signals as that of an XL-DC. However, any software that users wrote for the XL-DC is not 100% backward compatible, and may need to be changed. This is because XLi has many new added features and some of the commands had to be changes. Please consult with Symmetricom for help to convert your XL-DC application to the powerful XLi.
