Can the whole C.A. course be studied in the United States?
Only partially. Presently, we do not have any examination center in the United States. Therefore, for writing CA exams, the student will have to go out of the United States. In addition to writing CA exams, there is a requirement of 3 years (3 years under the new course) of Articleship training under a qualified Indian Chartered Accountant holding valid Certificate of Practice. This training can be done in the United States as recently ICAI has allowed overseas training also. For more details on it, please refer to Overseas Training guidelines issued by ICAI.
