Can the well water be connected to the mains water supply?

0

This is not allowed by the water supply regulations which state that there must be adequate protection to stop any possibility of well water being pumped into the mains water supply. There are 3 possible solutions; • To permanently disconnect from the mains water supply. • To have completely separate mains water and well water supplies with no possibility of a connection. • To utilise an air gap complying with Section 6 of the Water Supply Regulations 1999 which ensures that well water can not penetrate the mains water system. J D Drilling Services is able to assist with connection of water wells to both domestic and commercial properties.
