Can the weighting of Performance Measures be disabled?
Firstly, to regard all Performance Measures as equally important would be flawed thinking, as that can hardly be the case. Some measures will always be more important than others. Not wanting to go through scrutinizing and analyzing the measures in deciding their relative importance is probably a copout! Having said that, you can (technically and mathematically in the system) eliminate differences in weightings by just giving all measures the same weighting of course (e.g. 100 divided by the number of measures). NOTE: There is a system feature that allows the CorpAdmin to disable weightings and performance percentages for ALL appraisals in the system. Activate this when you want to use Appraisal Smart for performance feedback and development purposes only, and do not require the system to “pump out” Performance Percentages.
