No. The virtual Ethernet network and the iSCSI network are not one in the same and must be treated as a separate network by assigning a different subnet. Since the NIC in the iSCSI adapter is visible in a Windows environment and the virtual Ethernet is also visible to Windows, this would represent a conflict. The NIC function in the iSCSI adapter is used exclusively in this solution to transport virtual Ethernet data across the network to connect to the Power server virtual switch. This NIC interface should be used exclusively for this purpose and should not be used as another NIC available for general use under Windows.
