Can the theatre be used for stage productions?
Yes. The Texas Theatre is still being renovated to accomodate complete stage productions, but the existing facilities do allow for small scale productions. There aren’t traditional wings, as one would find on a regular stage, but groups utilizing the space typically will split the backdrops to allow for actors to come on and off stage. We have a bank of 4 lights directed at the stage, but no spot light at the moment. Anyone wishing to utilize additional needed stage equipment will be required to rent and bring onsite.
