A compound USB device is a USB device which incorporates multiple functions in a single unit. The T8 may be able to work with such devices, but this is not guaranteed. The order in which the compound USB device’s functions are enumerated determines whether or not the device will work in conjunction with the T8. Additionally, as noted in the previous FAQ, the T8 only works with devices conforming to the USB Mass Storage Class specification.
