Can the supervisory authority reject my notification’s registration?
If the supervisory authority considers that the statements from the notification are incorrect or incomplete, the notification will not be registered in the Register of Recording Personal Data Processing. In this situation, the data processor will be contacted, in order to give him/her the possibility of clarifying the situation. If the data processor doesn’t answers within the time limit of 10 days, to reply to the authority’s demands, then he/she commits a minor offence. If the data processor declares he/she would process sensitive data, the Supervisory Authority will register the notification only if it is ascertained that there would be provided all the safeguards necessary for the protection of the person whose personal data are processed. For this purpose, the authority may order the performing of a preliminary control.
