Putting the subwoofer in an enclosure will compromise the audio performance and is not recommended. With the introduction of the Polycom Conference Room Solutions for the VSX 7000s, provisions have been made for the subwoofer inside the cabinet. The design of the enclosure allows for the proper acoustic performance of the integrated sound system of the VSX 7000s.
