Proper straightening of metal will not weaken it and a frame is no exception. A frame repaired by a skilled professional will be as strong as the original. This pre-supposes the frame has not previously been damaged by improper repair. Over-heating metal, improperly working metal and repair of metal that is kinked can result in weakening.
