Can the Stewardship Council and PG&E transfer ownership of the lands to the State if they are unable to identify a qualified donee?

The Stewardship Council will endeavor to identify and select a qualified donee of fee simple and conservation easement in each case. State agencies, as public entities, are eligible to received lands. In the event that no such donee is found, the parcel(s) in question would be retained (in ownership) by PG&E.
