Can the stereo aux sends be used in mono?

Yes. The [L+R] switches on the stereo aux master modules can be used to make the stereo aux sends mono. When an [L+R] switch is on, the corresponding left and right signals from the stereo aux buses are summed together on the group/aux master module. Note that the same signal will be fed to both the left and right stereo aux insert outputs, and you must connect the return signal to both the left and right insert inputs. If you connect to only one input, the signal will not be fed to both the left and right stereo aux outputs or the matrix.
