Can the staff change the computer time so as to punch in early or punch out late?
The punch in/out time is taken from the computer running the Server software. If the Server software is run on another computer in the network, changing the Staff Punch Station computer time will not affect the punch in/out time. If the Server software is run on the same computer as the Group Punch Station, do the following to prevent your staff from changing the computer time: • Set a password for the computer BIOS. • Run the Group Punch Station in a non-administrator account. • Set a password for the Group Punch Station. • Set the following settings of the Group Punch Station: • run punch station when log in Windows • run punch station in full screen mode • disallow punch station to in be non-full screen • disallow punch station to be hidden • hide the taskbar when punch station is shown • show punch station always on top • password needed to set punch station to non-full screen • password needed to hide or exit punch station • Enable the “Prevent system time from being changed” opti
