Can the Spin-Tec be used for reefing?
Yes, you can reef your headsails with our equipment by partially furling the sail. You’ll need to let the headsail luff slightly or remove the majority of the load (by releasing the sheet) before furling — we don’t recommend trying to furl the sail while it is under a full load as this could damage the system (e.g., trying to furl the sail when it is properly trimmed in a breeze of 30 knots or more; the sheet should be released before furling in these conditions).
