Can the Solv8 rotating jet cause any damage to the tank’s floating roof?

0

No; an operational requirement is for the tank roof to be floating at a minimum 6 metres above the tank floor. This puts the roof support legs at a minimum of 4 metres above the tank floor, a safe distance above the operational height of the jet where turbulence will be minimal. Note however that for maximum dilution of sludge in oil, the tank should be as close as possible to full during Solv8 energisation.
