An SMP OPC Server is planned for Q1 2006. With this server you will be able to directly connect the SMP Gateway to OPC clients such as HMI applications from Wonderware, InTouch, Rockwell RS-View, Siemens WinCCC, GE Cimplicity, or others. Currently, you can also set up a protocol OPC server, such as Cooper Power Systems’ DNP3 OPC Server, to connect the SMP Gateway to OPC client applications.
