Can the sites interpret the scans locally if required by the IRB?

If IRBs require local interpretation of the scans, it is acceptable. However, the analysis should only be kept for the site records. Tufts prefers to receive raw data, therefore, local analysis should be performed after the scans have already been copied to the CD-ROMs or floppy disk.
