Can the shelf-life of the chocolates be extended using refrigeration?
Yes. You can place the chocolates in their original wrappings and box. Place the box in a tightly sealed plastic bag. You want to remove as much air as possible. Place in the refrigerator. Keep in mind that strong odors can be absorbed by the chocolates. When you’re ready to enjoy them, remove them from the refrigerator and allow them to come to room temperature (about 30 minutes) before opening the plastic bag.
