The Series 4 UV system has been designed specifically for use with larger home and professional Aquariums that have a low flow pump fractional HP circulation system, often referred to as a circ pump system. The Series 4 UV system has a single lamp and accommodates circulation pump flows up to 19 GPM (72 LPM / 0.072 m3/hr) The Series 4 UV System brings high flow performance to a low flow system. In the past, Aquarium UV systems installers have been required to do considerable plumbing to install, and due to prior I/O angle design limitations, full flowing hydraulics have been hampered, many times requiring the UV system to be installed as a bypass (side stream) system. These types of installations do not sanitize 100% of the Aquarium water, as does the Series 4 UV system.
