The SEGUE does allow for customized tracking based on unique funder needs. It is designed, however, to meet individual needs without losing focus on the organization’s single strategic plan and reporting format. Conversely, because some funders may not need to know the intricacies of a detailed contractual relationship, the SEGUE and prospectus also support simpler, traditional funding and donorship towards a philanthropic equity campaign.
