Can the school obtain exclusive rights to practice franchised services?
International TESOL exclusive rights in Asia cannot be purchased or granted unless it is known how you perform. In legal terms it is representation rights and requires investment. Investment margin is decided by Administrative bodies and could range from $50K to $200K. It involves estimation of assets, equity, capital, shares, etc. Exclusive right to use the certificate course and resources also is estimated and ranges from $40K US to $70K US. Any exclusive rights involves a purchase of a whole company and its assets for deployment in a foreign country. However, to do the same in a number of countries may be more expensive. This issue can be seriously discussed with the Board of Directors after deposit in approximately 10% of the quote has been made. I think this issue we could discuss at list in one year after we both feel and acknowledged the need and financial status of this enterprise.
