Can the Saxon Math DIVE CD’s be used without the Saxon textbooks?

No, these CD’s need to be used in conjunction with the textbooks. Both DIVE and Saxon Teacher contain lectures that introduce the student to concepts for each lesson that is covered in the textbooks. Saxon Teacher (produced by Saxon) provides instruction through each lesson in the course along with step-by-step working of sample problems as well as all lesson and test problems. DIVE CD’s (not produced by Saxon) teaches each math lesson using practice problems that are similar to the ones in the text. It does not cover every problem in the text. Bible verses are sometimes used in the lessons (except in the DIVE Compass programs, which are secular).
