In general you can certainly use the same tools for metal clays as for polymer clays, but you’ll probably need fewer tools for the metal clays. Those would usually be only brayers, tools and sheets for making lines/textures, work surfaces, etc. Even if there were any plasticizer left on your tools/etc after wiping them off or using soap/water or alcohol, for example, I don’t think that would cause any problems for the metal clays. Any left would just burn off at around 385 F and metal clays need much more heat than that… also I assume the amount would be so small that even if you weren’t using an enclosed kiln you wouldn’t have a problem in a basically ventilated area.
